1952
Allied is incorporated
1971
Paul C. Zimmer purchases Allied with a vision to support community growth.
1982
Bob Straub joins Paul Zimmer in partnership and the vision.
1988
Allied invests in its first 5-color offset press, a Shinohara 66VPK.
1992
Allied installs inserting and ink-jetting equipment, bringing critical mailing operations in-house.
1994
The Allied Distribution Center opens. We begin warehousing collateral and customer-owned products.
1997
We invest in our first digital press & begin customizing client collateral—the start of Allied’s one-to-one personalization journey.
2010
Allied develops a succession plan focusing on long-term leadership to promote internal growth and future innovations.
2013
We move warehousing to a larger space. The old location is where our state-of-the-art Digital Direct Mail Center is born.
2014
2015
Allied installs its first HP Indigo.
2021
We invest in personnel, security, quality, and technology to support complex, matched mailings.
2022
Allied announces a new management team to propel the company forward in operations, technology, printing, and marketing services. We invest in in-house envelope manufacturing equipment that can produce over 1,000,000 envelopes weekly.
2023
We expand our ability to support our client’s omnichannel marketing needs by providing email marketing, personalized URL and personalized QR codes, SMS marketing, and ringless voicemail.
